We help to broaden our clients’ reach by attending meetings on their behalf, translating and transcribing the contents of the meeting into English and returning it to the client within 24 hours. We are able to attend everything from low-priority public presentations, such as Thailand’s Opportunity Days and Indonesia’s Public Exposes, to the highest-priority AGMs and vote shares held by clients through a live chat with our local staff physically present in the meeting.
For the many public meetings that are held in the region of Southeast Asia (SEA), our team is able to condense these hours of often fruitless meetings into a few pages of notes that can be easily browsed, expanding the client’s ability to look at a range of companies, generating new ideas quickly and dismissing poor ones without wasting precious time.
Other meeting services we offer include providing a live translator for in-person meetings or online conference calls, taking meeting notes and including any background chatter that happens in the local language. This role is often expanded for companies with poor English skills, as our staff our trained in meeting direction and interview techniques. In this case, we discuss the meeting objectives with our clients before the call, keep a live chat up for the duration of the meeting, and ask questions and follow-ups in the local language while providing live translation and the chance for our clients to direct the meeting to topics of interest. In a region where languages are varied and English can be a challenge, this service is essential for funds that want access to lesser-known companies, and those that have not been groomed by professional IR services or brokers.
